An environmentally friendly eyewear brand "Plagla" born from a recycled plastic bottle.
In the sea, 8 million tons of plastic garbage arrives per year by rivers and tide flow. It will be an eyewear brand that makes full use of recycling technology because of the thought that "the problem will not be solved unless you make an effort to reduce garbage itself".
The frame is made up of about two 500ml plastic bottles, and weighs only 34 grams, including the lens.
The lens is made from a material called biodegradable biopolimer that returns naturally, and when the lens is disposed of in the ground or in the sea, it is mixed with microorganisms into carbon dioxide, water, and biomass. Biodegradation is started around 10 days, and within 5 years it is completely disassembled and becomes a natural fertilizer of plants.
